Introducing the 2012 Footsies Awards, First Ever FGC Award Show

Fight Your Rival Discusses the best fighting game releases of 2012

After months of planning,  we here at Fight Your Rival are incredibly excited to showcase the first annual Footsies Award Ceremony. The Footsies Awards are dedicated to the fighting game genre, as well as the passionate and talented community that has grown around the games we love. Since there was a whole lot to cover in the massive year that 2012 was for the genre, we split our award show into four parts. This first episode is dedicated to the features and characters of this year's fighting games, as Footsie awards were given out to games with the Best Graphics, Best Netcode, and more.

Below you will find the video, as well as a written recap of our winners.
