The Final Hours of Development in your hand
Crystal Dynamics today announced the launch of the Final Hours of Tomb Raider app for iOS, Kindle Fire and Steam. The app showcases the final hours between the studio and Geoff Keighley, which started with a documentary web series hosted by actor and gamer Zachary Levi. From the artwork till the actual gameplay itself, they go into detail about the blood, sweat, tears, and about half their soul going into this wonderfully made game. ”The Final Hours of Tomb Raider is a story about the reinvention of both a brand and a studio,” said Geoff. “This franchise reboot was itself rebooted multiple times, and now, for the first time, the team at Crystal Dynamics shares with fans the early prototypes and concepts that didn’t make it into the finished game.”
“Geoff has managed to capture the essence of a story that no one outside of the studio has ever been exposed to,” said Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director of Crystal Dynamics. “In a very immersive and informative way, he has managed to bring to life the personal side of game development, something which is usually lost in the noise when bringing a game to fruition.”
You will see the highs and lows of the development team basically, in which you can hold in your hands for a whooping $2.99. If you would like access to the app, please click the links below and make your purchase today!
